Playful Pours: Discover the Freedom of Fluid Acrylic Art

I host these sessions to help you break free from the need for perfection. We use fluid acrylics to let go of control, embrace the mess, and create unique patterns that reveal themselves as they pour.

The therapeutic process of watching paint flow and take the form that it pleases. Fluid art is a beautiful balance between control and the lack of it.

A glimpse into a pour art workshop. We started with some movement to bring flow into our bodies, then let that flow out onto our canvases.

We spilled and spoiled, and we are so glad we did! Fluid art is about embracing the mess and finding the beauty in the chaos.

I call this one the jellyfish splash! Sometimes the most amazing patterns emerge from a simple pour. I loved this one so much I had to add it to the grid.

Some mesmerizing pour patterns from a weekend workshop. Look at the magic that even someone who has never painted before can create!

A one on one fluid acrylic workshop. We spent the evening throwing paint on a large canvas, watching organized chaos at play as the colors chose their own path.

About this collection

These workshops are less about technical mastery and more about unlearning the need to control your output. You will learn the basics of techniques like the Dutch or Flip Cup, but the real process happens when you watch the paint take its own path across the canvas. Because these acrylic pours require at least 24 hours to set properly, I arrange a safe drying area and coordinate with you for easy pickup after the session, so you do not have to worry about transporting wet art home.

Fluid art is essentially the art of letting go. Many people come to my workshops feeling like they need to be 'good at painting' to show up, but this process is designed to bypass that mental block entirely.

How the Session Works

We start by getting the flow into our bodies, usually through some simple movement. Then, we mix high-flow acrylics with pouring mediums—and sometimes silicone oil to create those fascinating 'cells'—before hitting the canvas. It is messy, it is tactile, and it is unpredictable. You might come in with a vision, but the paint often has other ideas, which is the exact lesson I want you to take away.

What to Expect

Whether we are meeting at Bangalore Creative Circus or a cafe in Indiranagar, my role is to provide the space and the materials so you can just show up. I provide the canvases, the high-volume fluid acrylics, and the protective gear. You just bring your curiosity. These sessions are perfect for anyone looking for a bit of abstract art therapy or a fun, low-pressure weekend activity.

I’m Madhuri, and I believe art shouldn’t be tucked away behind glass. My workshops are built on the idea that you don't need years of training to make something beautiful, just a willingness to let the paint do its thing while we laugh through the process.
