Forget brushes and expensive acrylics. Grab a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, and let’s turn simple ingredients into art. No experience needed—just curiosity.

A glimpse into the focused, meditative atmosphere of a coffee painting workshop. Participants learn to create different shades and textures using just coffee, turning a simple beverage into a beautiful art medium.

The vibe at a coffee painting session is always so warm and inviting. Here's a look at a lovely group creating their masterpieces, proving you can make incredible art with the simplest, most aromatic ingredients.

Ever painted with wine? It’s a unique experience, creating beautiful crimson and purple hues. This workshop is all about exploring out-of-the-box mediums and having fun while doing it.

Look at these happy faces and their beautiful coffee paintings! It’s so rewarding to see people, many of whom are first-time painters, leave with a piece of art they are proud of.

A fun coffee painting workshop in session. I love seeing people get lost in the creative process, enjoying the beautiful sepia tones and the amazing smell of coffee as they paint.

The workshop vibe from a weekend session. Creating art collectively is a healing experience, and I'm so grateful for everyone who joins and co-creates this space with me.

This month, we are trading sepia tones for reds and purples by painting with wine! This flyer is for a session where we explore this natural and sustainable medium to create unique art.

About this collection

You don't need a steady hand or a background in art to join these sessions. During our 2.5-hour meetups, I guide you through creating textures and deep, layered shades using only concentrated coffee or red wine. It is a 'sip and paint' style flow, so you enjoy a beverage while you work, and you walk away with your own finished masterpiece in hand right after the session.

Why Paint With Coffee or Wine?

When we step away from traditional art materials, we also step away from the pressure to be 'perfect.' Painting with coffee offers beautiful, sepia-toned gradients that feel nostalgic and warm, while wine creates rich, crimson, and purple hues that are impossible to replicate with store-bought paint.

What to Expect at a Workshop

These sessions are designed for absolute beginners. We host these workshops at cozy, accessible spots across Bangalore like Copper + Cloves in Indiranagar or Bohemians. You just need to bring yourself—I provide all the supplies, from heavy-weight paper to the coffee and wine mediums. We keep the groups small so everyone gets a chance to relax, chat, and actually enjoy the process.

Is this for you?

  • Total Beginners: If you've never held a brush, this is the safest place to start.
  • Stress Relief: The act of 'sip and paint' is inherently grounding. It's less about the final result and more about the 2.5 hours of calm.
  • Social Connection: These are community gatherings. Whether you come with friends or solo, you'll find a space that feels like a living room, not an art classroom.

Everything is included in the session fee, including a complimentary beverage to keep you going. Come prepared to get a little messy and enjoy the smell of fresh coffee while you work.

Hi, I’m Madhuri. I’ve always felt that 'do not touch' signs in galleries are a bit silly, so I create art that you can actually play with. My workshops aren't about precision; they are about letting go and rediscovering the joy of creating something messy, beautiful, and real.
