School should be a series of celebrations, not just lessons. From Pyjama Days to Literacy Week, every event at our Kothanur and Thanisandra campuses is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and create genuine joy for our little learners.

Pyjamas on, worries off. Pyjama Day at our Thanisandra campus was all about comfort, cuddles, and carefree fun. It was heartwarming to see our tiny tots learning and playing in their cozy bedtime best.

Snuggles, stories, and sleepy giggles. Pyjama Day at our Kothanur campus was a cozy dream come true. From teddy bear cuddles to craft time, it was a day full of comfort and joy.

Little hands, greener tomorrows. During Van Mahotsav week, our young nature lovers got their hands dirty planting seeds and learning that every small green act helps our Earth.

Children's Day was full of laughter and fun. Our little ones made every moment special with games, crafts, and celebration, reminding us all of the magic they bring into our lives.

To kick off Literacy Week, we were thrilled to host TALA, founded by Kevin Wilson, for a musical treat. This special event brought the magic of music into our early years development program, setting a joyful tone for the week.

Here is the exciting schedule for our Annual Literacy Week at the Kothanur campus. The week was packed with events like 'Tune and Tale Time', puppet shows, and a book fair to celebrate the magic of reading.

The Little Red Hen Book Fair is back. As part of our Annual Literacy Week, we bring the magic of stories to life and give children and parents the chance to discover new books together.

This was the schedule for our Annual Literacy Week at the Thanisandra campus. We had a fantastic lineup of events, including parent-powered stories and costume chronicles, to ignite every child's imagination.

Jiyansh has something to share. As we prepared for our annual Barnyard Social, this little star proudly showed off the passport he made, ready for his imaginary travels. It's these moments of pride that I cherish.

About Our Special Camp Days & Celebrations

Our celebrations aren't about rigid stage rehearsals or forced routines. Whether it is Van Mahotsav where kids get their hands muddy planting seeds, or a Pyjama Day focused on comfort and community, we prioritize the process over the performance. When you see our children participating, you will notice they are genuinely engaged, playing and laughing, rather than just waiting for their turn to perform.

We approach events differently at Little Red Hen. We view celebrations as opportunities for sensory learning, social bonding, and real-world exposure rather than just dates on a calendar.

Why Our Events Matter

  • Literacy Week: We move beyond books. By hosting partners like TALA Education for music-and-story sessions and organizing our own Book Fair, we connect reading to movement, drama, and curiosity.
  • Nature & Sustainability: During Van Mahotsav, children do not just talk about the environment; they dig in the soil, plant seeds, and learn about our ecosystem through direct, tactile experience.
  • Comfort & Confidence: Events like Pyjama Day are strategically planned to create a safe, low-pressure environment. By removing the stress of a dress code, we help children feel more at home, which encourages them to speak up and participate in group activities more freely.

The 'Little Red Hen' Difference

We limit our batches to a maximum of 7 children per group. This small ratio allows us to ensure that every child—even the shyest one—has a chance to contribute to the day's theme. We don't believe in forcing a child to be the star of the show. Instead, we create a space where everyone has a role, whether it’s helping set up the Play Market or simply participating in a costume chronicle.

Our campuses in Kothanur and Thanisandra serve as hubs for these activities. We keep parents involved through frequent updates, ensuring that these special days become shared memories for your family, not just something that happened while you were at work.

We started Little Red Hen in 2014 as a group of women who wanted to build a place where kids feel at home, not just like students ticking boxes. We focus on getting to know every child deeply, ensuring they have the confidence to express themselves during our special events rather than just following a script.
