Cultural Festivals & Hands-on Learning
We weave festivals into our curriculum, not as a break from learning, but as a core part of it. Here, tradition and joy come alive in our classroom.

About Our Joyful Festivals & Cultural Celebrations
Our festivals go beyond just a day of dressing up. Take our recent Onam celebrations; the children did not just hear the stories, they collaborated to create a full-scale pookalam, even designing one as a Chandrayaan rocket. It is this blend of cultural heritage and active curiosity that makes learning stick in our classrooms.
At Glow'N'Glitter, we do not treat festivals as holidays to check off the calendar. Instead, they are organic extensions of our culture and science curriculum. When we celebrate Onam, it is not just about the display; it is a lesson in geometry, patience, and fine motor skills as children carefully place flower petals. We find that these moments are where community forms. Whether it is preparing for Ganesha Chaturthi with traditional art or exploring the vibrant colors of Holi, the children are always hands-on. By involving parents in these preparations, we turn our Jayanagar space into a genuine extension of home. We want children to leave our space understanding that traditions are a living, breathing part of who they are, rather than static facts from a book. Our approach to cultural education includes:
- Sensorial Engagement: Using textures like flower petals, clay, and sand to build a connection with traditions.
- Hands-on History: Understanding the reasons behind traditions through storytelling and active participation.
- Inclusivity: Celebrating diverse festivals from Onam to Eid to Karnataka Rajyotsava to ensure every child feels at home.
We believe education should be joyful, and there is no better way to learn than by celebrating the world around us together.

Namaste. We are Sangeetha and Swetha. We believe that a child’s world is richer when they understand their roots and have the freedom to explore. In our Jayanagar space, we ensure every festival is a hands-on learning experience, filled with joy and the warmth of community.
