About Our Team, Philosophy & Parent Voices
At Little Red Hen, we maintain a small batch size with a maximum of 7 children per group, ensuring that our teachers have the bandwidth to truly know your child’s unique personality. It is not about simply watching over kids, but about building a relationship where your child feels safe enough to explore, question, and learn at their own pace.
Since we opened our doors in 2014, our mission has been to move away from rigid scripts and endless worksheets. We prioritize the 'why' and 'how' of learning over rote memorization. Whether at our Kothanur or Thanisandra centers, our team focuses on open-ended play using loose parts and sensory activities to spark genuine curiosity.
Our educators are constantly growing, too. You will often find our team attending training sessions like the 6 Bricks certification, which teaches us new, creative ways to explain complex concepts through simple, hands-on tools. We believe that when a child is supported by teachers who are genuinely passionate about early education, they don't just learn—they thrive.
We don't do 'one size fits all.' By keeping our groups small, we ensure every child gets the attention they need to overcome hurdles, whether that is holding a pencil for the first time or finding the confidence to speak up in a group.
