Our Community & Studio Events
Ballet is about more than just technique. It is about the messy, joyful, real-life connections we build in the studio—from our parent-child dance parties to our festive holiday celebrations.
A wide shot of our Mother's Day celebration, with the studio full of students, mothers, and siblings all dancing together. It was a day filled with love and shared movement.
A mother and daughter hold hands and dance during our special Mother's Day class. These events create beautiful, lasting memories for our families.
A joyful hug between a student and their mother. Our studio is a place where these warm, heartfelt connections are celebrated.
A quiet, happy moment shared between a mother and daughter. It's these small connections that build our strong and supportive community.
Another tender hug from our Mother's Day event. We believe in celebrating the families that support our dancers every step of the way.
"The moms have taken over the dance floor!" This fun video captures the high energy and pure joy of our Mother's Day celebration.
Our Father's Day celebration was a full house. Dads and father figures joined their little ones in the studio for a day of dance, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
About this collection
Our community events are designed to break the ice, inviting dads, moms, and friends to experience the studio, regardless of their dance background. These gatherings turn the rigor of classical ballet into a shared, accessible experience where the focus shifts from perfect form to building connections with the people who support our dancers daily.
At The Lewis Foundation of Classical Ballet, we believe ballet is a language that everyone can speak. While our training follows a strict ISTD syllabus, our studio life is defined by the community that grows around it.
Why Community Matters
We operate on a Montessori-inspired approach where students of different ages and backgrounds learn from one another. This philosophy extends beyond the barre. Whether it is a Mother's Day dance-along, a Father's Day workshop, or our festive Christmas parties, these events allow parents and friends to step into our world.
Inclusive Training in Bengaluru
We are proud to run classes across seven locations in Bengaluru, including Frazer Town, Koramangala, and Whitefield. Our goal is to make high-quality dance education accessible. We actively break down stereotypes, encouraging male dancers and adults of any age or fitness level to join.
What to Expect
- Shared Experiences: Join our open-day events where family members can participate in lighthearted movement games.
- Seasonal Joy: We celebrate milestones together, from Nutcracker-themed workshops to end-of-term performances.
- Supportive Network: You will find that our studio is a place where you are not just a student, but part of a family that shows up for each other, on and off the stage.
Whether you are looking to enroll your child in our primary levels or want to start your own fitness journey with our adult ballet subscription, you are joining a culture that values discipline as much as it values laughter.
Lewis Foundation of Classical Ballet
At TLFCB, we don’t just teach ballet steps. We’ve built a space where kids, adults, and families can be themselves. Whether you're here for the discipline of a Grade 1 exam or just to share a dance on Father's Day, you’re part of our family.
