About Couple & Family Moments
I know the idea of a family shoot can feel stressful, especially if you have a toddler who won't sit still or a partner who is not a fan of posing. My sessions are designed to be entirely unhurried, giving us time to work around nursing breaks or just let the kids settle into the space. I am not looking for stiff, statue-like portraits. I am looking for the way your partner holds your hand or how the big sister leans into your bump. If we need to pause for a snack or a quick game to get everyone comfortable, we just do it. The magic happens when you stop performing and just start being together.
Your Session, Your Rhythm
Pregnancy is a whirlwind of emotions, and my goal is to freeze those feelings, not just the pose. Whether you visit my Malad West studio or we head out to a Mumbai garden for a golden hour session, the focus remains on your comfort.
What to expect during our shoot:
- Inclusive Posing: Whether it's your partner joining for a few frames or older siblings getting involved, I guide you gently. We don't do awkward, overly formal poses here. We do hugs, laughs, and quiet connections.
- Comfort First: Worried about outfit changes or toddler meltdowns? Don't be. My sessions are long enough to allow for nursing breaks, outfit adjustments, and the occasional tantrum. My assistant and I are there to handle the logistics so you can focus on your family.
- Styling & Wardrobe: You have access to my studio closet, including maternity gowns for mothers and coordinating fabric drapes. I help you style your partner and kids so everything looks cohesive without feeling forced.
Where We Shoot
I offer flexibility to suit your vibe:
- Malad West Studio: Perfect for controlled lighting, modern silhouettes, or cozy, intimate family portraits. We can create anything from minimalist black and white looks to dramatic cultural themes.
- Outdoors: If you prefer nature, we can head to a Mumbai beach or park. I love capturing the interplay of natural light with your family's dynamic.
