Single Theme Festive or Milestone Mini Session
Session Details
- Duration: 30 to 45 minutes of studio time.
- Theme: 1 creative setup focused on a specific concept (e.g., Janmashtami, Holi, or a Sitter milestone).
- Consultation: Pre-shoot discussion on theme and baby's schedule.
Wardrobe & Styling
- Costume: Provider supplies 1 themed outfit (e.g., Dhoti/Kurta, Tutu).
- Props: Includes theme-specific items like artificial flowers, peacock feathers, or wooden blocks.
- Styling: Basic hair setting and accessories provided.
Deliverables
- Images: 5 to 8 high-resolution, professionally retouched digital images.
- Delivery: Digital download via cloud link within 10-14 days.
- Exclusions: Package is for the baby only; parents are not included in photos.
Dual Look Sitter Session with Family Portraits
Session Scope
- Duration: Up to 2 hours in the Malad West studio, including buffer for feeding and changes.
- Setups: 2 distinct themes or backdrops (one prop-heavy/elaborate, one minimal).
- Family Photos: Parents and siblings included for approximately 20 minutes of the session.
Wardrobe & Props
- Baby Outfits: Provider supplies 2 costumes (Rompers, dresses, or themed attire).
- Prop Access: Includes premium props like vintage wicker chairs, wooden signage, and fur rugs.
- Parent Styling: Parents provide their own color-coordinated outfits.
Deliverables
- Images: 15 to 18 high-resolution retouched digital images.
- Editing: Signature warm and bright editing with skin smoothing.
- Selection: Online gallery provided for image selection.
Triple Look First Birthday & Cake Smash
Three Part Flow
- Classic Portrait: Formal outfit with props like blocks or balloons.
- Cake Smash: Custom-designed messy backdrop with floor mats and bunting.
- Bubble Bath: Vintage tub setup for cleanup shots.
- Duration: 2.5 to 3 hours total.
Production & Wardrobe
- Setups: 3 total setups including use of large props like Hot Air Balloon or Teepee Tent.
- Wardrobe: Provider supplies 3 outfits (Formal wear, Smash outfit, and accessories).
- Cake: Custom smash decor included; parents typically bring the cake for allergy safety.

- Images: 25 to 30 high-resolution retouched digital images.

About Baby & Kids Photography
Capturing little ones is my passion - from sleepy newborns to the wild first birthday cake smash. I love freezing those quick, natkhat (mischievous) grins and tiny expressions that disappear before you know it.
Milestone Moments
Babies change so fast. I offer sitter session photos for when your munchkin starts sitting up and their personality really pops. First birthday shoots and cake smash photography are my favorites - pure, messy happiness and laughs you’ll want to remember.
Themed & Cultural Shoots
We can get creative with themed baby portraits - think boho, jungle explorer, little sailor, or hot air balloon. I also love celebrating our culture. If you want your baby dressed as Little Krishna for Janmashtami or as a tiny Varkari, I’ve got the props, outfits and ideas. Holi shoots use safe, baby-friendly colors and pichkaris (water guns) for that festival feel.
The Experience
Shoots can happen in my Malad West studio, outdoors in Mumbai, or right at your home. I handle all props, outfits, wraps, and setups. Families are always welcome to join in for a few shots - nothing forced, just real smiles and hugs.
Comfort First
Your baby’s comfort comes before any photo. I plan each session around their mood, naps, and needs. If they’re happy, I’m happy, and you’ll get natural, timeless photos.

My Story
Hey, I’m Shalaka – some say photographer, I say fotosmith. I’m hooked on capturing those tiny, blink-and-you-miss moments: a mother’s glow, a baby’s yawn, chubby cheeks, giggles. Babies grow up so fast, right? I started this to freeze those little miracles, so you can hold onto them. I’m all about fun themes too – a baby as little Kanha for Janmashtami? Pure joy. Whether in my studio or your home, comfort and safety come first.
