My Teaching Philosophy

I believe that 'Angat asleli kala kadhich upashi marat nahi' (the art within you will never let you starve). My workshops are not just about showing you how to draw; they are about giving you a skill that opens doors. We skip the theory-heavy fluff and focus on the practical realities of becoming a mehndi artist in Mumbai.

What You Will Learn

My curriculum is split into focused streams based on what you want to achieve:

• Foundation Course: This is for those starting from scratch. We spend a month on the basics—cone mixology, pressure control, and foundational motifs like peacocks and lotuses. We practice on paper, then move to boards, and finally to real hands.
• Pro Bridal & Figure Drawing: For those ready to enter the premium market. We focus on human anatomy, storytelling scenes like the Doli or Varmala, and how to connect figures with fillers for full-arm bridal designs.
• Portrait Mastery: A short, intense crash course. We focus on shade work, 3D depth, and the techniques needed to replicate faces from photos onto the skin.
• Floral Styling: A dedicated workshop for mastering botanical elements, 3D roses, and creating aesthetic vine clusters.

Class Structure

All classes take place at my studio in Goregaon West. I keep batches small—usually 3 to 6 students—so I can provide personal feedback on every line you draw. You do not need to bring anything; I provide all the cones, practice sheets, and materials. Whether you are looking to become a professional artist or just want to master a beautiful new skill, I will guide you step-by-step.
