It's practice time in my class. This video shows several of my students deeply focused on their work, practicing everything from intricate mandalas to full bridal hand layouts on their sketchbooks.

As I always say, practice makes you perfect. This is a glimpse into the hard work and dedication of my students as they practice different bridal mehndi elements, from figures to filler patterns, to perfect their skills.

Here, my students are practicing traditional Indian mehndi designs. They use their phones for reference while I guide them, ensuring they learn the authentic patterns and motifs that are always in demand.

A snapshot of my class in session. You can see students working hard on their drawing pads, with a live demo setup in the center. I create a focused yet comfortable environment for everyone to learn at their own pace.

A short, candid video of two students practicing together. My classes often feel like a creative session with friends, where everyone is learning and growing in a fun, supportive atmosphere.

I understand that many of my students are working women or college students, which is why I offer flexible evening batches. This is a picture of my night batch, full of passionate learners who are dedicated to mastering the art of mehndi.

More scenes from our practice sessions. Each student works on different designs, from simple border patterns to complex full-hand bridal layouts, getting comfortable with a variety of styles.

About In the Classroom: Hands-On Learning

In my studio, we don't just stand around; we sit together on the floor for that traditional, comfortable learning vibe. It is not a lecture-style class where I just talk—I sit right next to you, watching every line you draw, guiding your hand, and making sure your pressure control is perfect before we move to anything complex.
