Taekwondo Training Sessions in Mumbai & Thane
Building champions starts with daily discipline. Get a behind-the-scenes look at our training sessions, ranging from basic Poomsae forms to intense competitive sparring.
Power and precision in every kick. Here you can see one of my students practicing speed kicking drills on a pad. This kind of one on one coaching is key to building the explosive power needed for competitive sparring.
Discipline in motion. Our students are practicing their Poomsae, or forms, together as a group. This synchronized training builds focus and ensures every movement is sharp and correct according to the official Kukkiwon curriculum.
It all starts here. Watch my youngest students, some under six years old, learning the basics with focus and energy. We build a strong foundation of discipline and skill from the very first day of Taekwondo training.
A look inside our new branch at Lodha Signet. Students of different belt levels are practicing their kicks and forms together, showing the discipline and respect that is central to Taekwondo.
This video shows a sparring practice session at our Khar branch. Students are wearing full protective gear, including head guards and chest guards, to practice their fighting techniques safely.
A montage of our training sessions. You can see students doing flexibility exercises, practicing kicks on pads with me, and engaging in controlled sparring drills. This is how we build all around athletes.
Two of my youngest students practicing their sparring footwork and stances at our Thane studio. We teach them the fundamentals of Kyurogi in a safe and encouraging environment.
About this collection
It is not just about the kicks, it is about the repetition. You will see students drilling footwork and Poomsae patterns repeatedly to build the muscle memory required before they ever step into a competitive sparring match. This focus on fundamentals is why my students can transition from their first class to the medal podium with confidence.
Training with Purpose
At my academy, we do not believe in short cuts. Whether you are a child starting at age three or an adult looking to learn self-defense, our training follows the official Kukkiwon curriculum. We keep the batches focused so that every student gets individual attention, ensuring that stances, blocks, and strikes are executed correctly.
What Happens on the Mat
Our sessions are designed to push you, but they are also meant to be fun. You can expect:
- Kyurogi (Sparring): We focus on offensive and defensive footwork. Students practice controlled drills using paddles to build speed and accuracy.
- Poomsae (Forms): This builds the focus and discipline that defines a true martial artist. We emphasize technical precision over raw power.
- Conditioning: Agility ladder drills and plyometrics are regular fixtures. It is hard work, and yes, there is sweat, but this is how we build the endurance of a champion.
