About Milestone & Sitter Sessions
Sitter sessions are ideal for babies around 6 to 9 months old who are just learning to sit up independently. During these 90-minute studio slots, I focus on keeping your little one comfortable, allowing them to explore props like wooden crates and vintage tricycles while I catch those natural expressions. I recommend scheduling these when your baby is well-rested, usually after their morning nap, to ensure we get those cheerful, interactive shots.
My studio in Malyana is designed as a calm, temperature-controlled environment, which is essential for successful baby photography. When you book an Essential Milestone Studio Session, we spend 1.5 hours working through two distinct creative setups.
What to Expect
We use a mix of prop-based scenes—like the wooden tricycles, crates, and floral arrangements you see in the gallery—and simpler backdrops that keep the focus entirely on your baby’s personality. Since babies this age have shorter attention spans, my approach is to move at their pace rather than forcing them into rigid poses. If they need a break for a feed or a cuddle, we take it.
Gear and Technique
I shoot with a Sony A7R3 paired with a Sony GM 24-70mm 2.8 lens. This setup allows me to capture sharp detail even in lower, softer light, which creates that creamy, dreamy look you see in these photos. By using professional lighting from Godox, I can maintain a consistent, soft glow regardless of the weather outside in Shimla.
Practical Details
- Pricing: Milestone sessions start at ₹7000–₹9500.
- Deliverables: You receive 12 high-resolution, professionally edited digital images. Every photo undergoes color correction and light skin retouching to ensure the final gallery is polished.
- Wardrobe: The studio provides outfits for these sessions, but you are always welcome to bring along a special set of clothes that has sentimental value.
