About Babies & Toddlers: First Smiles & Tiny Steps
For my baby and toddler sessions, I skip the artificial studio lights entirely. I come to an outdoor location with an assistant to help manage the energy, so we spend those 2-3 hours focused entirely on letting your child explore while I capture candid shots. Whether it’s their first crawl or a curious moment in the garden, we keep it relaxed, natural, and entirely on their schedule.
Why Outdoor Photography for Your Little One?
Studio setups can be overwhelming for children. By moving the shoot to a park, a garden, or a riverbank, I let them be themselves. This helps capture genuine smiles, curiosity, and the authentic first moments that usually vanish in a posed setting.
My Process
Each session is a collaborative effort. I bring an assistant along specifically to help with baby management, ensuring the child stays comfortable and happy throughout the 2-3 hour duration. This allows me to focus on composition and lighting without rushing.
