About Cake Smash & Milk Bath Fun
A cake smash session is a full sensory experience that often feels overwhelming to plan at home. My studio sessions are designed to handle the mess from start to finish, so you do not have to worry about cleaning up cake from your living room floor. I manage the setup, the cleanup bath, and the chaos, leaving you with just the joy of watching your little one celebrate.
Planning a first birthday photoshoot should be fun, not another task on your to-do list. At my Malyana studio, I keep the process simple and stress-free. We start by choosing a theme that matches your child's personality—whether it is pastel rainbows, boho chic, or a rustic barnyard setup.
When you arrive, the scene is fully prepared. We start with clean portraits before the cake arrives to get those classic, smiling shots. Then comes the main event: the cake smash. I provide the fresh, eggless cake, and we let your child explore, smash, and enjoy. The best expressions happen when they are curious about the frosting or surprised by the texture.
After the cake, we transition into the milk bath or bubble bath. This serves two purposes: it gets your little one cleaned up, and it gives us those adorable, cozy shots in the tub. It is a 3 to 4-hour process, but we move entirely at your child’s pace. If they need a break for feeding or soothing, we pause. The goal is to capture genuine smiles, not staged poses. You will receive 30+ professionally edited images, including the messy, funny, and tender moments that define their first year.
