About First Birthday Celebrations
The biggest decision is usually the theme. Whether you want a rustic barnyard, pastel rainbows, or a clean, minimalist setup, we plan the entire look before you arrive. I provide the outfits, custom balloon arches, and even the cake, so all you need to bring is your baby and a camera-ready smile.
I designed my Shimla studio to take the stress out of the big day. A first birthday photoshoot is a 3 to 4-hour process because babies have their own schedules, and I never want to rush them. We start with formal portraits where they look like little professionals, move into the cake smash where things get messy and fun, and finish with a warm milk bath to clean up.
Parents often worry about their child being shy or not 'performing' for the camera. My job is to make this feel like playtime, not a job. I have plenty of experience with toddlers who need a little extra time to warm up. I also handle the wardrobe and props, so you do not need to stress about buying outfits your child will wear for only an hour.
