About Wearable Art & Other Delights
Since I make these pieces one at a time right from my home studio, each bangle and accessory is truly unique. If you see a pattern or color combo that catches your eye, grab it quickly because once a design is gone, it rarely comes back exactly the same way.
My wearable art journey began when I realized I wanted my accessories to be as loud and joyful as my wall decor. I got tired of mass-produced plastic jewelry that all looked the same, so I started experimenting with wood, clay, and fabric. Each pair of hand-painted wooden bangles or customized trinkets you see here is a labor of love.
I use wood and clay as my canvas, applying layers of acrylic paint, varnish, and sometimes resin to make sure they hold up to daily wear. Because I do not use stencils or machines, the lines might be a little wobbly or the colors might vary slightly from what you see in a photograph—that is my signature. It is what makes your piece yours and nobody else’s.
