Exhibitions and Event Pop-ups
I love taking my art out of the studio and into the real world. Here is a look at my recent pop-ups, flea markets, and school visits across Hyderabad.
We are here. Exhibiting today at the beautiful Botanika. Here are some clips of my stall, filled with colorful torans, trinket dishes, and other handmade goodies.
So excited to announce that I'll be at the Kalangan festival at Inorbit Mall, Hyderabad. Save the date and please come visit. I can't wait to meet you all there.
A little video recap of our amazing day at Sunday Soul Sante. It was a huge success thanks to my incredible team and everyone who stopped by. It was an honor to have fashion designer Ganesh Nallari visit our stall.
A quick tour of my stall at Sunday Soul Sante. We have everything from hand-painted juttis and necklaces to our signature hangings and bangles. We even have a kids' art contest running.
I'm so looking forward to this. I'll be a guest speaker for the Grade 1 students at Oakridge International School, talking about art as a mode of communication. Kids are the most honest audience.
About Khyatiworks on the Road: Exhibitions & Events
Meeting you in person is honestly the highlight of my work. Photos just don't capture the way the ghungroos chime or the texture of the hand-stitched threads on my torans. If you catch me at a stall, I’m always around to discuss custom motifs or help you pick a piece that matches your home's vibe.
I believe art is best enjoyed when you can touch it, feel the weight of the hand-painted wood, and hear the sound of the bells. That is exactly why I love setting up stalls at flea markets like Sunday Soul Sante and exhibitions at venues like The Botanika or Inorbit Mall.
Why I Love Pop-ups
Beyond just selling my handmade decor, these events are where I get to connect with my community. Whether it is explaining the 'pakka kaam' (solid work) that goes into a custom toran or sharing my process with students at schools like Oakridge International, these interactions keep me grounded.
What You Can Expect at My Stall
When you visit my setup, you will find a mix of my current collections, from hand-painted bangles to resin-coated trinket dishes. I usually bring:
- Handmade Torans: See the density of the beadwork and test the sound of the bells.
- Wall Decor: Get a feel for the psychedelic prints and mixed media elements.
- Wearable Art: Try on my hand-painted bangles and necklaces to see how they fit.
I am also always open to taking custom orders right there on the spot. If you want a specific color palette for your mandir or a particular size for a wall hanging, we can sketch it out and start the process together. Keep an eye on my social handles for updates on where I will be setting up my next stall, or drop me a message if you are planning to visit and want me to bring something specific.
