Karate is not just about fighting. It is a path to build a strong mind and body, a way of life that teaches discipline and self-control.
Here, my senior students practice the Sansai kata in unison. This drill shows the discipline and synchronization we build through constant practice until the body remembers the moves on its own.
Every student, no matter how young, receives personal instruction. I am teaching one of my youngest students the basic middle punch, correcting her form to build a strong foundation for her karate journey.
This is Kumite, or sparring, from a recent competition. You can see my students applying their training, showing control, speed, and spirit under pressure.
I also teach Kobudo, the art of Okinawan weapons. This is a demonstration of nunchaku techniques, which improves coordination, speed, and focus.
I am proud of my team. This is a group of my students who were selected for the state level tournament after their hard work and dedication paid off.
As instructors, we lead by example. We are demonstrating a strong Zenkutsu-Dachi stance with a middle punch, showing the power and focus required in every technique.

About Featured
I teach the Shorin Ryu Shorin Kai style, where we focus on Kihon, Kata, and Kumite. Whether you are a total beginner or an experienced practitioner, I personally correct every stance and punch in the dojo. We work until your mind forgets and your body remembers, building the reflexes you need for both the competition mat and real-life self-defense.
Our Training Philosophy
Practice make man perfect. This is the core of everything I teach at the dojo. Karate is not about knowing how to throw a punch, it is about developing the confidence to handle life's challenges. My classes are a mix of intense conditioning and precise technique training, whether you are here for fitness or to sharpen your skills for national competition.
What You Will Learn
- Kihon & Kata: We start with the fundamentals. Stances, blocks, and strikes must be perfected before you move to forms like Taikyoku Shodan. Repetition is our method.
- Kumite (Sparring): This is where theory meets reality. We practice distance management, timing, and point scoring in a controlled environment to prepare you for actual tournament conditions.
- Kobudo: For those who want to go further, I teach the art of Okinawan weapons, including nunchaku skills. This significantly improves focus and coordination.
The Dojo Environment
Classes are held in my certified dojo in Kudlu and Parappana Agrahara. We provide a disciplined space with standard foam mats. My sessions are designed for everyone, from young kids taking their first steps in martial arts to serious athletes training for state and national medals. I keep group sizes manageable so that every student gets the personal correction they need. If you have the spirit to train, you have a place here.
