About The Artist at Work
I believe art should be a two-way street. Whether I am doing a live demo at an exhibition like the one in Kolkata or working on a digital file from my Faridabad studio, I keep you in the loop. You see the line art first, we tweak it, and only then I add the final color. It ensures the caricature hits the mark every time.
For me, the magic happens in the process. Drawing for over 30 years has taught me that the sketch is the foundation, but the conversation with the client is what gives the art life.
My Process
When you hire me for a digital caricature, we don't just jump to the final product. Everything starts with your idea. I create a rough sketch, show it to you, and we refine it until it feels right. I work on a Wacom tablet, ensuring every piece is 100% hand-drawn, never using AI filters. You get high-res files that look sharp on anything from a small mug to a large A2 poster.
On the Field
Some of my favorite memories come from live events. Being invited to exhibitions like the 'In Art World' event in Kolkata or the Timeless Ayodhya Festival allows me to connect with people directly. Seeing the smile on a visitor's face when they see their caricature come to life is why I do this. It is raw, it is real, and it brings a human touch that screen-based work sometimes misses.
Whether it is a corporate event where I sketch live for your guests or a personal memorial portrait that needs care and respect, I treat every assignment with the same intensity. My art isn't just about exaggerated features; it is about capturing the vibe and the quirks that make you, you.
