About From Sketch to Masterpiece: The Creative Process
Before I apply any color or ink, I always share a rough pencil sketch for your approval. This is the most crucial step because it lets us tweak the proportions and expressions to make sure the likeness is spot on before I commit to the final, permanent details.
I do not believe in copy-paste shortcuts or AI generation. Whether I am working on a handmade A4 piece with markers and watercolors or a crisp digital illustration, everything starts with your story. I need photos that capture different angles, and I love hearing about the specific quirks, outfits, or inside jokes you want me to highlight in the final drawing.
Once we align on the concept, I typically take 4 to 6 days to get it ready. For handmade work, I use high-quality 300 GSM paper to make sure the colors pop and the ink stays bold. Every physical piece, whether it is a solo portrait or a complex group joyride, is framed carefully in a durable fiber frame, ready to hang on your wall. It is all about giving you a piece of art that is 100% original, just like you.
Romil Sharma
Hi, I am Romil! I draw faces, but mostly I draw laughs. My art is not about stiff, formal portraits; it is about capturing that spark when you see your caricature and just crack up. I want to capture your wittiness, not just your features.
