From a blank page to a personal memento. Take a look at how I turn a few quick, confident strokes into a keepsake your guests will actually want to take home.

A close-up of my hands at work. I use confident strokes with a marker to create the main features, then add depth and personality with subtle watercolor shading, all in a matter of minutes.

This video shows the evolution of a sketch, from the initial black outline to the final colored portrait. Each step is done quickly and efficiently to keep the process engaging for the person being drawn.

The classic reveal. After finishing a sketch on my easel, I turn it around to show the guest. This video captures that simple but powerful moment of sharing the finished artwork.

My portable setup includes a wooden easel, clipboard, and a palette of watercolors. This allows me to work efficiently in any event space, creating colorful and lively portraits on the spot.

Here you can see my technique of using a yellow marker to add highlights and warmth to a portrait. These small details are what make each live caricature pop.

About The Artist's Process

I treat every sketch like a mini-performance, using acid-free paper and professional markers to ensure the result is frame-worthy. My setup is entirely self-contained; I just need a 4x4 ft footprint and two chairs to get started, so I can focus entirely on engaging with your guests rather than worrying about logistics.
