Kānike is a space for the things that bring us together. Whether you are hosting an acoustic set, an artist talk, or a cozy poetry night, our studio offers a grounded, non-corporate setting that feels more like a living room than a venue.

Participants in a photography project listen intently during a presentation. Our studio is equipped with a projector, making it a great spot for educational talks, critiques, and film screenings.

An invitation to a special closing dinner for an exhibition, where the artist himself cooked a traditional meal of Mutton Saaru and Ragi Mudde for the guests.

We often collaborate with other local spaces for "double bill" events, encouraging people to enjoy an evening of art, music, and mythology in our neighborhood.

We also host wellness events like this Sound Healing Bath. The calming and immersive experience is a perfect fit for our serene and comfortable space.

About Community Events & Gatherings

Since our studio is built for intimacy, we comfortably host 20 to 40 guests. We do not offer a typical event hall environment, so do not expect a polished, corporate feel. What you do get is a rustic, home-like space with cement floors and natural light where your guests feel connected to the art and to each other, not just the event.
