Experience the thunderous rhythm of Chendemelam, the acrobatic intensity of Dollu Kunita, and the vibrant spirit of South Indian folk traditions brought to life for your event.

The incredible acrobatics of Dollu Kunita, a traditional drum dance of Karnataka. Our troupe forms a human pyramid while drumming, a show-stopping act that never fails to amaze audiences at corporate events and festivals.

A Chendemelam percussion ensemble from Kerala performing in a street procession. The thunderous and complex rhythm created by dozens of drummers is a powerful experience that embodies the spirit of a grand festival.

This is Huli Vesha, or the Tiger Dance, a vibrant folk dance from coastal Karnataka. Our artists, painted as tigers, perform energetic and acrobatic moves to the beat of the drum, captivating crowds during festivals and processions.

A performance of Kamsale, a unique folk art from Karnataka where artists dance and create rhythmic sounds using brass cymbals. This devotional art form is performed in praise of Lord Mahadeshwara.

A procession featuring Veeragase and Puja Kunita, two powerful folk forms from Karnataka. Veeragase is an intense dance performed by devotees of Lord Shiva, while Puja Kunita involves balancing a large floral structure on the head.

A large troupe of our Veeragase artists during a grand procession. This dance is known for its high energy and symbolic movements, representing the fury of the warrior god Veerabhadra.

A glimpse of a large-scale Onam celebration we organized, featuring a mix of art forms. You can see our Chendemelam drummers, Huli Vesha (tiger) dancers, and a decorative elephant, creating a complete festival experience.

About this collection

We don't just send performers; we bring a full troupe of 6 to 8 artists with their own specialized instruments, from the heavy Dollu drums to the sharp beats of the Chende. Whether you need a 60-minute high-decibel procession or a structured stage performance, we handle all the logistics of sound and setup, so you get the raw energy of these traditions without the production headaches.

Our goal is simple: we want these ancient art forms to be seen and felt, not just remembered. As our clients often say, 'Idu ella kade maadisabeku' (This must be performed everywhere). We carry that motivation into every gig, whether it is a corporate gala in Bengaluru or a private wedding celebration.

The Performance Experience

We specialize in bringing authentic, high-octane folk acts to the modern stage. Our troupe size and equipment are scaled to the event type:

  • Dollu Kunita: Perfect for high-energy openings, featuring athletic choreography and massive drums that demand attention.
  • Chendemelam: Ideal for processions and grand entrances, providing a thunderous rhythmic punch that builds atmosphere.
  • Huli Vesha (Tiger Dance) & Kamsale: These provide a visual spectacle, combining physical agility with traditional costumes that tell stories of coastal Karnataka and beyond.

Practical Details for Organizers

When you book us, you are getting the real deal, not recorded tracks.

  • Setup: For Huli Vesha or Kalaripayattu, we require a clear stage area (minimum 20x15 ft) to ensure safety during acrobatics and weapon work.
  • Preparation: Our character-based acts, especially those involving intricate makeup (Bannagarike), require advance preparation time in a private green room. We coordinate this schedule with your event planner so the performance starts exactly when you need it.
  • Travel: Our studio is in Banashankari, and we regularly travel throughout Bengaluru, Mysuru, and the wider Karnataka region. We manage the transport of our heavy instruments and our troupe, so you have one less thing to track on the event day.
