The journey of our kheer begins here, in the ponds of Mithila. Every makhana is harvested by hand, with patience and respect for nature. This is a tradition we hold close to our hearts.

About this collection
What truly sets this mix apart is the texture. We do not use fine, machine-ground powders. Instead, we use hand-crushed makhana and dry fruits to give you that rustic, creamy mouthfeel found in traditional recipes. Every pack comes with a separate garnish sachet so you get that final crunch without the nuts getting soggy while the kheer cools.
Kheer is not just a dessert in Mithila; it is an emotion. Whether it is for Kharna during Chhath or a quiet Sunday family meal, that creamy texture and earthy aroma of makhana defines the taste of home. We wanted to preserve this exact feeling, even for those living far from their roots.
Our kheer mix is not churned in a factory. It is prepared by the women of Darbhanga. We use the traditional silbatta (grinding stone) method to process the sun-dried makhanas. This ensures the texture remains chunky and rich, rather than turning into a watery slurry.
Since every family has a different preference, we keep our mix unsweetened. You can stir in jaggery (gud) for a more rustic, earthy flavor, or use white sugar, honey, or stevia based on your diet. The Kesar (saffron) variant uses real saffron strands for a deep golden hue, while the Nariyal (coconut) variant adds a nutty, refreshing depth. It is the perfect bridge between wanting a traditional feast and having a busy city life—just add 400ml of milk, simmer for 10 minutes, and enjoy.
