About Dance Fitness
Why I Call It My 'Femily'
At JD School of Dance, I call everyone my 'dance femily' (family) because we’re all in this together. Fitness here is not about punishment or counting calories. It’s about moving, laughing, and sweating with people who hype you up. We have a proper 'mili bhagat' (joint conspiracy) of good music, fun moves, and a lot of energy.
What to Expect
Every session feels more like a party than a workout. We skip the boring treadmill and jump straight into a Bollywood dance workout. Sometimes, holding a plank feels 'zyada mushkil' (too tough), but when we do it together, it’s actually fun. The class is a mix of:
- High-energy dance routines on Bollywood and Haryanvi tracks like "Ghungroo" and "DJ pe matkugi"
- Dance-based strength training with dumbbells, aerobic steppers, and mat exercises for core and toning
- Partner stretches to cool down and relax
All-Women Batches & Studio Vibe
I run women’s fitness dance sessions in the evenings, so you can just let go and focus on yourself. The studio is air-conditioned, has mirrors to check your moves, and the lighting is always set for a good time. Everyone’s friendly, the music is loud, and you’ll always find someone cheering you on. My Story
Hey, I’m JD School of Dance – but honestly, we’re more like one big ‘dance femily’. Kids, adults, all grooving together, sometimes getting stuck on lyrics (lyrics yaad rakhna zyada mushkil h – remembering lyrics is tough!), but always laughing. Our studio’s full of sparks, not firecrackers, just pure masti (fun) and music. You’ll spot us in reels, dancing to everything trending. This is our happy place, mili bhagat (joint effort) every single day.
