Project Kick-offs and Custom Fabrication
Every project begins with a clear plan and positive intentions. I personally oversee the start of each site with a traditional ceremony to ensure we begin on the right foot.
Starting a new project at Lodha Woods with a coconut-breaking puja. This is a tradition I uphold to bring good fortune to the site and mark the official beginning of our work together. The video also gives a quick tour of the empty site before we begin the transformation.
This video shows custom fabrication work I did in Lokhandwala. I designed and installed this metal bicycle parking rack for a building, demonstrating that my skills extend to practical, custom metalwork solutions beyond interior design.
A puja ceremony with the client to inaugurate a new interior design and build project. It's important for me to start each job with the client's involvement and positive energy before we begin the construction.
Performing a puja with my tools before starting carpentry work at a new site in Lokhandwala. This small ceremony marks the beginning of the furniture and wardrobe construction for the project.
Another project kick-off, this time at a new site in Santacruz. The puja ceremony with my tools and team members is how we begin every major renovation, setting the right tone for the work ahead.
About Project Kick-offs & Custom Fabrication
When I start a project, whether it is in Lodha Woods or a commercial space in Lokhandwala, the process goes beyond just breaking a coconut for a puja. It marks the day I take full responsibility for your site. You won't find me managing from a distance; I am the single point of contact for the entire build, from the initial site clearance and civil demolition to the final coat of polish on your custom furniture.
Construction is rarely a smooth process, and my role is to remove the friction for you. By being physically present on-site every single day, I bridge the gap between architectural drawings and reality. This approach is essential for custom fabrication, where a small measurement error in metal or carpentry can delay a project by weeks.
My Approach to Custom Fabrication
- Metalwork: From parking racks to custom structural supports, I handle the design and execution. If you need a specific metal frame, I build it to fit the space rather than forcing a standard size.
- Carpentry: Every wardrobe and storage unit is built using BWP or MR grade commercial plywood. I focus on structural integrity and finish quality, not just the visual aspect.
- Civil & Structural: I manage everything from 4-inch brickwork to plumbing points and electrical conduit routing.
I have seen too many projects stall because communication between different contractors failed. That is why I handle the full scope. Whether it is a small furniture piece or a full-scale renovation, you deal with me. I keep the site clean, the team focused, and the work strictly to the timeline we agreed upon before the first tool was picked up.
