From Dust to Design: Our On-Site Process
People call it messy, but I call it the path to perfection. See exactly how we build your space, from the first coconut-breaking ceremony to the final polish.
Every new project begins with hope and positive energy. Here I am performing a small puja at a new site, a tradition I follow to ensure a smooth and successful journey from an empty space to a client's dream.
This is where it all begins. A raw, empty shell is a canvas of possibilities. This was the starting point for a new beauty destination we were building, showing the initial phase of construction and framework going up.
The false ceiling is a critical element that defines a room's lighting and atmosphere. This video shows the detailed POP (Plaster of Paris) work in progress, creating the structural foundation for the final ceiling design.
Applying laminate is a job that requires precision and patience. Here, my team demonstrates the correct process, from cleaning the plywood surface and applying adhesive to carefully pressing the laminate to ensure a bubble-free, durable finish.
The real quality of a project is in the details. Here you can see the precise craftsmanship involved in creating a custom grooved partition, from the initial marking to the final cutting with a hand router for a perfect finish.
I believe in being on-site to see the magic happen. This video shows my team, the real magicians, at work during different phases of a project, from constructing the false ceiling to the detailed painting of a geometric accent wall.
About From Dust to Design: The Process
Many designers hide the messy parts, but I show them. Whether it is applying laminate with precision to avoid air bubbles or routing grooves for that perfect finish, my team of craftsmen works right in front of you. When you see the raw plywood, the wiring, and the false ceiling frame, you know exactly what is going into your shop or home. This is not just about showing off, it is about you knowing exactly what you are paying for.
I believe that an interior design project should not be a mystery. When you hire Dizzart Interiors, you are not just getting a 3D drawing; you are getting my 12 years of experience on the ground in Mumbai.
Why I document the process:
- Transparency: You deserve to see the quality of materials being used. From BWR plywood to the specific brand of paint, I show you the products before they are covered up.
- The 'Jugaad' Philosophy: Sometimes, standard plans fail on-site. Mumbai spaces are compact and tricky. My team and I excel at finding practical fixes that work without compromising on the finish.
- Craftsmanship: I call my team magicians for a reason. Watching a carpenter use a hand router to create a partition or seeing the precision required for false ceiling POP work—this is where the real value is created.
What to expect at your site:
- Planning: We start by understanding your brand. If it is a salon, we look at workflow. If it is retail, we look at lighting.
- Execution: I am there on-site. I handle the false ceiling, electricals, and the furniture assembly.
- Finishing: The small stuff matters. Laminates, edge banding, and cleaning up so your business is ready to open its doors.
Whether you need a salon facelift in Chandivali or a smart home renovation in Dombivli, my process remains the same: we do it right, and we do it honestly.
