My Design Process
I often work with architectural elements to ground the design. I enjoy using Mughal-inspired jaali panels, mirrored surfaces, or clean, modern pillars to define the perimeter. These structures provide a solid foundation for the floral work.
Floral Installations
I approach florals as a texture. For an 'Ivory' theme, I might use dense jasmine and tuberose strings to create a soft, monochromatic canopy that catches the breeze. For more vibrant themes, like the 'Garden of Vows' style, I mix red, purple, and pink blooms to create a dense meadow effect at the base and overhead. I focus on creating layers, using different varieties of flowers to add depth rather than just color.
Lighting and Atmosphere
Lighting changes everything. I use warm washes to highlight the ceiling installations and architectural features. If you are planning a sunset ceremony, I incorporate candle walls or hanging votives that create a soft, flickering glow as the evening progresses. My goal is to make the space feel like a living, breathing part of your love story.
