The mandap is the heart of your union. I design these sacred spaces to reflect your unique love story, from my signature Lotus Mandap to custom floral sanctuaries.

About Ethereal Mandaps

When I design a mandap, I focus on the structure first. My signature Lotus Mandap, for example, stands 14ft to 16ft high, using dense floral pasting and intelligent lighting to create a divine sanctuary, perfectly positioned to be the focal point of your ceremony.

Every wedding mandap I create follows a specific narrative. Whether you are envisioning a grand, haveli-inspired structure with intricate wall paintings or a modern, floating floral canopy, my goal is to ensure the design feels like a natural extension of your personality.

My Approach to Mandaps

For large, open-air setups in Mumbai, I prioritize structural stability without sacrificing the aesthetic. We use box trusses for intelligent lighting, allowing us to highlight the bride and groom without overwhelming the space. If you want a traditional mandap with a modern twist, I integrate elements like gold-finish architectural pillars with fresh, exotic blooms to bridge the gap between tradition and luxury.

Floral & Lighting Integration

Flowers are more than decoration. I use a mix of exotic and high-quality artificial blooms to achieve the required density, especially for ceiling installations where weight is a factor. My team carefully arranges every stem to ensure that your mandap looks perfect from every angle, particularly during the Varmala ceremony or when captured by your photographers.

Planning Your Space

I have designed mandaps in various settings, from lush lawn venues to intimate indoor halls. If your venue has a difficult layout or you are worried about the weather, we discuss these challenges early. I prefer to visit the site to understand how the light hits your chosen spot throughout the day, ensuring the Mandap feels as beautiful during the daylight rituals as it does during an evening ceremony. If you have a specific dream in mind, let's talk about how we can build it.
