Featured Fashion Campaigns and Editorial Portraits
A curated selection of my work across fashion film, editorial, and commercial campaigns—where lighting, mood, and motion meet.
A fashion film that embodies modern Indian couture. I focused on dramatic lighting and fluid motion to highlight the intricate details of the garment and the model's graceful presence, creating a piece that feels both cinematic and timeless.
This portrait, shot for a collaboration between Jayanti Reddy Label and Kishandas Jewellery, is all about capturing a mood of regal elegance. I used soft, directional lighting to sculpt the model's features and bring out the rich textures of the silk saree and the exquisite detail of the heritage jewellery.
An on-location shoot with a strong narrative feel. The moody lighting of the underground parking lot and the dynamic pose create a cinematic moment, perfect for a men's fashion editorial or a brand campaign that tells a story.
For this Lino Perros campaign, I played with light and shadow to create a high-fashion, mysterious atmosphere. The focus was on creating graphic shapes and a sense of movement, making the product the hero of a visually compelling narrative.
A bold and energetic studio shot for Sejal Kumar's collaboration with Apple. The vibrant orange backdrop and dynamic pose create a high-impact image that feels modern and confident, perfect for a digital campaign.
A powerful studio portrait that combines bold styling with clean, high-key lighting. This image demonstrates how to create a striking look for a model's portfolio, focusing on strong composition and direct engagement with the camera.
This campaign for Fabindia captures the simple joy and elegance of their ethnic wear. I used bright, natural-looking light and a clean, festive set to create a warm and inviting visual story that feels authentic and celebratory.
A relaxed, sun-drenched lifestyle shoot for a Lino Perros accessories campaign. The natural light and casual setting on the tennis court help create an authentic, relatable scene that showcases the products in an everyday, aspirational context.
About Featured
Everything you see here is the result of a deliberate, team-based process. I rarely shoot alone, preferring to work alongside stylists and art directors to define the mood before we even set up the lights. Whether we are creating a cinematic fashion film or a structured studio campaign, my focus remains on the specific story we are telling and how we use lighting to craft it.
My approach to these projects moves beyond just pressing the shutter. It starts with a concept—a mood-board that bridges the brand's identity with a visual narrative.
The Process Behind The Lens
- Collaboration: Every campaign, whether it is for a heritage label or a modern streetwear brand, involves a curated team of stylists, makeup artists, and lighting assistants. We align on the visual language before the shoot day.
- Technical Precision: I use tethered shooting for larger commercial campaigns, allowing brands to see the raw output on a monitor in real-time. This ensures we nail the composition, product placement, and skin textures right on set.
- Cinematic Grading: For my video and film work, the process continues into the edit, where I handle color grading to ensure the final output feels cohesive, consistent, and on-brand.
Where We Shoot
While I have a strong preference for studio environments to control lighting for clean e-commerce and high-fashion lookbooks, I frequently move on-location for editorials. From the structured, moody interiors of parking lots to heritage buildings in Delhi, I select spaces that add depth to the frame. Whether you are looking for high-end campaign production or a polished lookbook, my priority is creating imagery that retains its impact long after the season changes.
