We're serious about competition, and that includes a significant prize purse for our top athletes at The Bengaluru Throwdown. This is your chance to showcase your fitness and win big.

Here's a breakdown of Workout 1 from a past Throwdown: a 9-minute AMRAP of wall walks and heavy deadlifts. We program workouts that are a true test of grit and strength.

Workout 2 was a test of pure strength: building to a heavy 1-rep-max barbell complex of a clean, two front squats, and a shoulder-to-overhead. This is where lifting technique under pressure is crucial.

A classic chipper for Workout 3, combining a 50-calorie row, toes-to-bar, dumbbell snatches, and overhead walking lunges. This workout tests an athlete's engine and muscular endurance.

Workout 4 combined the pain of the Assault Bike with the technical skill of rope climbs. This couplet is designed to push athletes' cardiovascular capacity and grip strength to the absolute limit.

The final workout for our individual competitors: a tough combination of bar-facing burpees, overhead squats, and high-skill gymnastics like bar muscle-ups. This is how we crown a champion.

About The Bengaluru Throwdown: Our Signature Competition

We do not just judge you on your 1-rep max; our workouts—like AMRAPs and chippers—are designed to test grit, technique, and capacity under fatigue. Whether it is a 9-minute wall walk and deadlift ladder or complex barbell cycles, you will see exactly where your training stands against the best in the city.

The Bengaluru Throwdown is the heartbeat of our gym. We bring athletes from across the country to Yemalur for two days of testing every facet of CrossFit. It is a competition designed to expose weaknesses and celebrate strengths in a high-pressure environment.

What You Can Expect

We program movements like barbell clean and jerks, wall walks, toes-to-bar, and assault bike intervals to push you to your limit. It is a true test of your 'engine' (aerobic capacity) and your 'skill' (gymnastics). We force you to maintain technique on snatches while breathless, proving that you have more than just raw power.
