About Kickboxing for Kids
We focus on proper form and safe impact training, using focus mitts rather than just hitting bags or partners. Every session includes agility ladder drills and motor skill work to help kids develop coordination, not just power. You will see them learning 4-count striking combinations in a disciplined, controlled environment where safety comes before speed.
Martial arts is about more than just punches and kicks. For younger students, we use training as a vehicle to teach focus, patience, and physical literacy.
Our Training Approach
Classes are structured to match younger attention spans, typically running for 60 minutes. We move quickly between drills so kids stay engaged. A typical session starts with warm-ups, moves into agility ladder work to build footwork and balance, and finishes with technical striking on focus mitts held by instructors. We do not do hard sparring; impact is controlled and safety is the priority.
Building Character
Beyond the physical workout, we instill traditional martial arts etiquette. Students learn to bow, respond to commands, and respect their training partners and coaches. This environment helps build social skills and confidence. Whether your child is looking to learn self-defence, improve their fitness, or just burn off energy after school, our curriculum provides a solid foundation.
