About Adult Kickboxing & Sparring
We run our adult sessions on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, focusing on K1-style striking that you can actually use. You are not just hitting air here; we work heavily on partner pad drills and controlled, supervised sparring to build the exact timing and reflexes needed for real-world self-defense.
At iPPON, we treat kickboxing as a discipline, not just a workout. We don't care about flashy moves that don't land; we care about conditioning, muscle memory, and the mechanics of a proper jab, cross, and roundhouse kick. Our training environment in HSR is built for results, with 25mm EVA foam mats for safe movement and heavy bags for building genuine power.
What to Expect in Class
Every session lasts between 75 and 90 minutes. We start with a high-intensity warm-up that might involve agility ladders or bodyweight drills, moving quickly into technical instruction. Our coach-to-student ratio stays between 1:8 and 1:12, ensuring you actually get feedback on your stance and guard rather than getting lost in a crowd.
Sparring and Safety
Sparring is optional but highly encouraged for those ready to test their skills. We manage this strictly. The goal is to apply what you learned in drilling, not to hurt your partner. We emphasize controlled impact, safe distances, and mutual respect. If you are here strictly for fitness and weight loss, we keep you on the pads and bags where you get all the cardio benefits without the contact.
Joining the Squad
We do not have a fancy AC setup, but we have a dedicated team that shows up to work. You need to be ready to sweat, learn the fundamentals, and push past your comfort zone. Whether you are a total beginner who has never thrown a punch or someone looking to sharpen their K1 competition technique, there is a place for you on the mats.
