Kids Jiu-Jitsu: Fun, Focus, and Fundamentals
We don't just hand out belts for showing up. We teach kids to earn their progress through discipline, real technique, and movement—making fitness feel like play.
This is what a typical kids' class looks like. We start with dynamic warm-ups and agility drills using cones and ladders to build coordination, then move into interactive games that teach reaction time and basic grappling concepts. It's all about making learning practical and fun.
I focus on teaching proper technique from day one. Here you can see our students practicing fundamental movements like forward rolls and learning positional control, like maintaining the mount. Every drill is done under careful supervision to ensure safety and real skill development.
About Fun, Focus, and Fundamentals
Classes run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 5:30 PM. We focus on a 60-minute cycle that balances agility games with fundamental grappling techniques. This ensures your child develops coordination and physical resilience, rather than just memorizing forms. Whether your child is shy or high-energy, they learn to move safely and build confidence on the mat.
Why We Teach Jiu-Jitsu Differently
Most kids' programs rely on repetitive drills that bore children to tears. We flip the script. Our curriculum uses dynamic games to teach complex body mechanics and movement patterns without the frustration of rote learning. Your child learns breakfalls, positional control, and wrestling concepts through play, which builds genuine intuition on the mat.
What Your Child Will Learn
- Physical Resilience: We operate in a non-AC industrial setup in Sadashiva Nagar because training in real conditions builds grit.
- Self-Defense Mechanics: We don't teach 'karate chops.' We teach grappling—how to control a situation, defend against a push, and stay calm under pressure.
- Technical Progression: We have a clear path for promotion based on merit, not attendance. Kids earn their stripes by demonstrating they understand the moves, not just because they showed up.
The Logistics
Our program for kids aged 4-12 runs three times a week. We keep groups focused to ensure every student gets direct feedback from the coaching staff. If you are unsure if this is the right fit, start with a single trial session. It gives you a clear view of how we manage the mats and how your child responds to the challenge.
