Our Family Story: Welcoming Your Newest Member
From the quiet anticipation of pregnancy to the joyful chaos of new arrivals, I capture the authentic connections that define your family. Let’s save these moments exactly as they are.
A joyful and playful family portrait with a newborn. The older sister gives her dad a hug while he holds the baby, and mom looks on with a smile. It’s a moment of pure, chaotic, beautiful family life.
A sweet interaction between father, daughter, and his new baby. These lifestyle shots capture the real relationships and the fun of being a family.
The first kiss from a big sister. Capturing the gentle, loving moments between siblings is one of the most rewarding parts of a newborn family session.
A classic family portrait with parents, a proud big brother, and the new baby sister. Everyone is smiling for the camera, creating a perfect memory to cherish.
A relaxed and loving pose with mom and dad admiring their newborn baby. The simple white outfits and soft rug create a clean, timeless family portrait.
A beautiful shot from behind the parents, focusing on the newborn sleeping peacefully in their arms. This perspective emphasizes the feeling of protection, love, and wonder.
A precious nose-to-nose moment between a mother and her newborn. These are the quiet, intimate connections that I aim to capture for you to remember forever.
A father's gentle kiss on his newborn's forehead. This high-key, minimalist photo is powerful in its simplicity, showing the profound bond between a parent and child.
A macro detail shot of a baby's tiny hand wrapped around their parent's finger. It’s a simple but incredibly powerful image that speaks volumes about love and connection.
A fun and creative way to announce a pregnancy by getting the big-sister-to-be involved. Her excited expression and the custom chalkboard sign make this a truly special announcement.
About Our Family Story: Welcoming Your Newest Member
Bringing an older sibling to a newborn or maternity shoot often turns a quiet session into a playful one. I design these shoots with extra time for breaks and play, focusing on capturing the genuine connection between your children rather than forcing stiff poses. It is about documenting the real, chaotic, and beautiful dynamic of your growing family in my Mahim studio.
My approach to family photography is based on a simple belief: the real heroes are the families themselves. I do not aim for perfection in the sense of stiff, posed portraits. Instead, I look for the fleeting moments—the way a big sister holds her new brother, the quiet look between parents, and the natural curiosity of children.
The Studio Experience in Mahim
My studio in Mahim is built to be a safe, comfortable space for your family. For maternity and newborn sessions, this means climate-controlled environments and props that are sanitized and soft. Whether you are coming in for a maternity shoot at 32 weeks or a newborn session within your baby's first 20 days, the goal is to make the experience stress-free.
Preparing for Your Session
- For Maternity: I recommend scheduling between 32 and 36 weeks. We can discuss gowns and styling during our consultation to match the look you want, whether that is dramatic and moody or bright and airy.
- For Siblings: If you are bringing older children, bring their favorite toys or snacks. My sessions are paced to allow them to warm up. I want to photograph them being themselves.
- Our Style: We embrace the mess. If a child wants to run around or a newborn needs a feed, we take the time. These pauses are often where the most honest photos happen.
I offer complete packages ranging from individual maternity or newborn sessions to the 'First Year' journey, which documents your child's growth from tummy time to their first birthday cake smash. Every session is designed to keep your family’s story consistent and deeply personal.
Kidzography
I founded Kidzography because I believe families are the real heroes. My studio in Mahim is designed for comfort, not just photography. We keep things relaxed so your children can be themselves, and the chaos—the real stuff—becomes the memory we save.
