About Exhausts & Fuel Systems
A common mistake is installing a performance exhaust without adjusting your fueling. It doesn't work like that if you want reliability. You need the air-fuel ratio to match the increased airflow, which is why we pair our exhaust upgrades with piggyback ECU tuning. It keeps the engine happy, prevents it from running lean, and ensures the power gains you actually feel on the road.
We build the Greasehouse Grunt V5 series right here in our Mahadevapura workshop. We use full stainless steel construction because we hate rust, and we finish it with aluminum end caps and ceramic wool wrapping. When we develop these, we don't just weld pipes and hope for the best. We put the bike on our in-house dyno, run the tests, and verify that you are actually getting a tangible torque and horsepower increase in the mid and top range.
Why Tuning Matters
A pipe is just noise until you fix the fuel map. That is why our performance packages include the installation and calibration of piggyback ECUs like FuelX or PowerTronics. We reset service indicators, calibrate the throttle position sensor, and perform a wide-band Air-Fuel Ratio (AFR) check. This prevents the 'snatchy' throttle response that plagues many stock setups.
