Solo Hip-hop Freestyle and Choreography Showcase
This is just me, the music, and the floor. Here is a look at my personal freestyle, the choreography process, and how I find my groove to the beat.
A quick freestyle session in the studio. For me, hip-hop is about finding your own groove and expressing yourself through movement.
Just vibing to a track in the studio. This is an example of how I play with different textures and speeds in my freestyle, from smooth glides to sharp, quick footwork.
A solo choreography piece with some dramatic lighting. I love playing with different moods and telling a story through my dance.
A late-night freestyle session in a dimly lit studio. Sometimes the best ideas come when it's just you and your reflection in the mirror.
Announcing a dance workshop with a short solo piece. This choreography gives a taste of the style and energy I bring to my workshops.
About Instructor Showcase: Solo & Freestyle
My freestyle isn't just about moving to the music; it's about control. In my sessions, we focus on transitioning between sharp, quick footwork and smooth glides without losing the rhythm. Whether you are watching these clips or joining a class, notice how I keep my core tight to balance power with flow. That foundation is exactly what I teach at my studio.
Freestyle isn't something you can just fake. It comes from having a solid vocabulary of moves and the confidence to string them together in real-time. When I dance, I am thinking about how to play with different textures—sometimes the music calls for sharp, percussive steps, and sometimes it demands a smooth, liquid flow. This ability to switch styles is what we work on during my hip-hop training sessions in Bangalore.
My approach is built on discipline. We spend plenty of time on footwork drills like the Two-Step Bounce or Heel Switch because these are the building blocks of every great routine. Without them, your freestyle will lack depth. I bring this same focus to every class I run in Kammanahalli and Bidrahalli.
If you are looking to learn hip-hop, we don't just copy choreography from a screen. We break down the 'why' behind every move. You will learn how to listen to the beat, how to use your body for conditioning, and most importantly, how to build your own style. Whether you are a beginner wanting to fix your basics or someone looking to sharpen their battle techniques, you will find a supportive space here to make mistakes, learn, and grow. Let's get to work.
