About Performances & Judging
My Vibe on Stage
Stage for me is pure energy. Whether I’m performing or judging, I’m all about connecting with the crowd and bringing that hip-hop culture alive. It’s not just about steps - it’s about the story, the fire, and the realness you bring to the floor.
Performances: Full Power
- I do solo freestyle as HE-Mantis, always keeping it raw and spontaneous. If you want that street dance showcase that gets people hyped, that’s my thing.
- For bigger impact, I roll with my crew, Bangalore Hustlers. We bring tight routines and crew energy that hits different.
- I’ve performed at everything from college fests to brand activations, music videos, and private parties. If you want the crowd moving, I’m your guy.
Judging: No Nonsense
- As a hip-hop battle judge, I keep it 100. I look for creativity, technique, and that unique spice every dancer brings.
- I judge 1-vs-1 all style battles, group dance competitions, and even kids’ freestyle contests.
- Usually, I kick off with a judge’s showcase performance to set the vibe and get everyone pumped.
Where I’m At
Based in Namma Bengaluru, but I travel for the right gigs. Delhi, Kerala, wherever the scene calls. If you want someone who lives and breathes this, hit me up.

My Story
Yo, I'm Hemanth, but folks call me HE-Mantis. Born and raised Tumkur boy, now repping Bengaluru. Started Bangalore Dance Studio to bring more people into hiphop - this city’s got mad energy. My crew, Bangalore Hustlers, they’re my brothers, not just teammates. We battle, we mess up, we grow, we win, repeat. Sometimes I’m back in Tumkur, judging or just jamming - for me, it’s all about the vibe, the love for dance.
