About Bridal Couple Portraits

Capturing your likeness in henna requires more than just skill; it needs time. These designs are hand-shaded with fine-tipped cones to ensure every detail of your facial features, jewelry, and attire is preserved. Because of the precision involved, please plan for a dedicated 5 to 6 hour session for this level of elbow-length bridal work.

Your story, hand-drawn

I view every bridal hand as a fresh canvas. When we sit down to create your couple portrait, we aren't just tracing a pattern. I take the time to study your photos to ensure the henna accurately reflects your specific wedding attire, the way you look at each other, or the pose that defines your relationship.

The process

Every portrait commission begins with a 30-minute virtual consultation. We use this time to plan the specific milestones or elements we will weave into the design. Whether it is a proposal scene, a specific date, or a hobby you share, this planning phase ensures the final result feels like a memory, not just a decoration.

Quality and Care

I use 100% natural organic Sojat Henna mixed with essential oils like eucalyptus or lavender to ensure a deep, rich stain. For these intricate portrait designs, the application is slow and methodical. I apply a lemon-sugar sealant once the design is finished to lock in the stain and ensure the color develops fully.

If you have a specific scene in mind—perhaps a favorite city skyline from your travels or a traditional pose—let me know during our chat. I love finding ways to integrate these personal quirks into the surrounding traditional patterns.
