This design features fun, dancing portraits of the bride and groom, capturing a moment of celebration. I combined this with traditional Rajasthani elements like elephants and kalash motifs on the arms.

This design features four distinct portraits, two on the palms and two on the forearms, telling a progressive story. It's a beautiful way to showcase different moments or looks from your wedding festivities.

This intricate design showcases multiple figures and scenes from a wedding ceremony. Each arm tells a part of the story, creating a complete narrative from wrist to elbow.

About Your Story in Henna: Custom Portraits
Getting the right portrait look requires clear, high-resolution photos of you and your partner—the clearer the picture, the better the final henna sketch. We should also plan the placement early; I usually suggest putting these on the palms to ensure they remain the focus and aren't hidden by bangles or heavy jewelry.
Portrait mehndi is more than just drawing faces; it is about capturing expressions. When I do custom storytelling designs, I dedicate 6-8 hours to the process because detailing the eyes, the jewelry, and background elements like a baraat or mandap requires absolute patience.
Why it takes time
This is my most intensive service. I use a chemical-free organic paste that ensures a deep, rich stain, but this means the lines must be precise from the first stroke. I do not use shortcuts. Every stroke of the paisleys or the architectural details around the couple is hand-drawn to match the vibe you want.
Planning your story
I ask for reference photos at least one week before the event. This gives me time to study your facial features and plan the layout. Whether you want a Varmala scene on your palm or a significant date hidden near the wrist, we can map it out together. If you are based in Mumbai or Navi Mumbai, I travel to your venue, bringing the same level of care I use at my studio in Nerul. Remember, this is a long sitting, so please make sure you are comfortable. I do not rush the details, as this is your day, and your hands are telling the story.
