When I do mehandi, it’s not just about the bride - I love making sure everyone close to you gets designs that feel special. Whether it’s your groom, your sisters, your mom, or your besties, I try to carry the wedding vibe into every hand I decorate.
Groom, Bridesmaids, Family - Sabke Liye (For Everyone)
- For the groom, I keep it simple - initials, wedding dates, or something personal like a basketball or bicycle if he’s into that. Usually, just a small design on the palm.
- Your bride squad and family get a bit more detailed work - sometimes “Brides Mom” written, sometimes portraits or matching motifs. I can go from just palms to full forearm coverage, all fitting your wedding theme.
- For guests, I make it quick but pretty: minimalist lines, Arabic strips (bel), simple mandalas, or sometimes just finger details. This way, nobody feels left out and everyone looks festive.
Personalisation & Pro Tips
Everyone’s different, so I offer both 100% natural henna and instant red-colored henna, depending on what people like. My design library is huge - traditional jhumkas, peacocks, even modern city skylines and geometric shapes. We’ll find something for everyone.
Tiny hack: If we’re doing a lot of hands at once, I sometimes use talcum powder to help the mehandi dry quickly. Chota sa jugaad hai (just a small trick), but it works!
