About Power on Vault & Bars
The biggest hurdle in vaulting is often the fear of the landing. We tackle this by training in our dedicated foam pit. It allows students to focus entirely on their body position, flight, and rotation without the worry of a hard impact, letting them build the muscle memory required for perfect form on the vaulting table.
Our approach to bar and vault training is rooted in progressive development. We do not rush the process. Whether it is working on the Uneven Bars to build upper body power or practicing vaulting table approaches, every session begins with specific conditioning.
The Progression to Flight
- Vaulting Table: We start with springboard drills to master the run and the block. Students learn to translate their speed into vertical lift before moving to the table.
- Uneven Bars: This is where we build grit. From pull-overs and hip circles to release moves, we emphasize grip strength and core control.
- Safety First: Our facility is built for safe learning. With high-touch spotting from our coaches and deep foam pits, we ensure that every 'Fast kar!' from a coach is met with a safe, controlled movement.
Building Champions
It is not just about the apparatus. We push for discipline. Gymnastics training here demands focus. Students learn that strength is not given; it is earned through repetition. We watch our kids transform from hesitant beginners to confident athletes who can handle the demands of district and national level requirements. Whether they are training for medals or for personal growth, our goal is to help them push their limits safely.
