About For Our Young Sprouts: Kids Kona
This is not a drop-off daycare. Our sessions are about learning through play, whether it is juggling, origami, or listening to stories while you browse our fresh local harvest. We bring in facilitators for circus skills and local storytellers so your kids get real-world interaction, not just screen time.
We believe clean food education starts early. That is why we created Kids Kona, a permanent space where children engage in eco-creative activities. It is about moving from passive entertainment to active participation. One weekend you might find them mastering juggling rings to improve concentration, and the next, they are learning plant art with local experts. Our Young Sprouts sessions get teens involved, while little ones dive into storytelling and paper crafts. It is safe, open-air, and deeply grounded in the same community spirit that defines the rest of our market. Bring your kids along to the Sustainable Oasis or Club 5, let them get their hands dirty with natural colors or hone their focus with circus arts, all while you meet the farmers who grow your food. It is our way of building a warm community of ecologically aware people for the next generation.

Manas
I am Manas, and I started this market 11 years ago to bring our community closer to real food. We built Kids Kona so children could grow up with a deeper connection to nature and their own creativity, while the rest of us catch up over some local produce.
