Featured Highlights of Gurgaon’s Local Organic Market
Welcome to our space where food is medicine, friends are family, and everything you see is grown right here in your neighborhood.
Welcome to the Gurgaon Organic Farmers Market! I'm Manas, and for the last 11 years, my farmer friends and I have been building this community. Every Sunday, we bring you the freshest, locally grown, chemical-free produce. This video is a quick walk-through of the incredible variety you can find here, from post-rain harvests like snake gourd and seven types of microgreens to handmade pesto and even fresh idli batter. It's more than just a market; it's a place to connect, learn, and fill your bags with health and joy.
It's not just about food, it's about the energy! We believe in total fun, and our Bhangra fitness sessions are proof. Come for the veggies, stay for the dance. This is the kind of community spirit you'll find here, iski guarantee hai!
Mango mania at the market! This is just a glimpse of the incredible variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables you'll find. We celebrate what the earth gives us, from dozens of mango varieties during our Aam Mela to the freshest, crispiest greens.
Ever tried a bhel made with millets? This is our special GOFM Bhel, a national favorite with a healthy twist. We use roasted jowar, corn from Bihar, and lobia beans with homemade chutneys. It’s delicious, nutritious, and a perfect example of the fun, creative food you'll discover here.
Our Kids Kona is a special space where children can connect with stories, art, and nature. Here, our friend Shubha is sharing tales with the little ones. We believe that a love for good food starts early, and we make learning fun for our youngest community members.
My journey to learn and connect took me to Solitude Farm in Auroville to meet the amazing Krishna Mckenzie. I believe in learning from the best, and here they cook what the farm produces each day, not the other way around. This philosophy of eating with the seasons is what we bring to our market and workshops in Gurgaon.
This is the real deal. Fresh bajre ki roti being made on a traditional clay chulha right at the market. We bring you authentic food experiences, connecting you to the taste and wisdom of our culinary traditions.
This is what a balanced plate looks like, created entirely with produce from our farmers. This beautiful meal by Tarika Ahuja features five colours and five flavours, including black rice, kulfa bhaji, and canary tomatoes. It’s a perfect example of how we connect fresh, local food with a healthy, nourishing lifestyle.
About Featured
My favorite time at the market is early Sunday morning at Club 5, when the first harvest of seasonal greens—like local kale or spinach—arrives fresh from the farm gate just 20km away. You’ll find farmers like Adarsh and Kapil setting up their stalls by 7:30 AM, and if you want to snag the best microgreens or the limited batch of homemade idli batter, that’s when you need to be here.
More Than a Marketplace
When we started this 11 years ago, it wasn't just to sell sabji. It was to create an oasis away from the industrial food system. Here, you don't just 'shop'; you talk to the person who grew your food. You ask them about their soil, their composting methods, and why they chose a specific seed.
The Weekly Ritual
Whether you are visiting our Saturday setup at Sector 29 or the Sunday market at Club 5, expect a proper mela vibe. We have kids engaging in origami and plant crafts at our Kids Kona, fitness enthusiasts joining in for Bhangra sessions, and home chefs sharing millet recipes. We don't believe in fancy packaging—we believe in bringing your own thela (cloth bag) and filling it with fresh, seasonal produce that is chemical-free and grown in great soil.
Why Local Matters
Most of our produce comes from within a 20km radius. This isn't about activism; it's about nutrition. Vegetables harvested just hours before you buy them retain a crispness and nutrient density that supermarket produce lost days ago. From rare varieties like snake gourd and red roselle to our signature millet bhel, everything here has a story.

Come as you are. This is a pajama-chappal market. You don't need to dress up to buy your atta or dal. You just need to bring your curiosity and your appetite for real food. We verify every farmer ourselves, and we invite you to do the same—visit the farms, ask the hard questions, and build the trust that makes a community work.
Manas
I’m Manas, your host here at GOFM. For over a decade, I've been creating a space where we trade industrial 'cheat' food for real, soil-grown goodness and genuine community connection. Come as you are—pajamas, chappals, and your own bags—and let’s eat better together.
