More Than a Market: Our Community Vibe
We aren't just selling produce; we're building a neighborhood. From morning Bhangra to our zero-waste initiatives, see what keeps our community coming back every weekend.
We are a community of farmers you can trust as friends. The relationship here goes beyond just buying and selling; it's built on friendship, joy, and care. Come and meet your friends every Sunday at the market.
It's never a dull moment when there is trust and friendship. Our market is a place where people connect, share smiles, and build real relationships over a shared love for good, clean food.
A young shopper getting an early start! We love seeing the next generation learn about food, holding their own baskets and making their own choices. This is what building a healthy community for the future looks like.
Taking a break from shopping for some fun and games! The market is a place to relax, connect, and share a laugh. It's these moments of simple joy that make our community so special.
A glimpse of our Bhangra workshop in full swing! It's all about moving your body, feeling the rhythm, and sharing infectious energy with the community. This is what we mean by food, fun, and fitness.
Eat good, dance more! Another look at our Bhangra fitness session. It's a workout that feels like a celebration. Come join the fun and let the music move you.
Our 10-20 promise to the environment! We encourage everyone to bring their own bags. You get Rs 10 every time you use your own bag, and contribute Rs 20 for a disposable one. It's a small step that makes a big difference.
Welcome to the Bag Bank! Bring your empty, clean paper bags from deliveries and donate them here. We reuse them at the market to reduce waste and help save our forests. It's a community effort to build a cleaner world.
We all have that one plastic bag full of other plastic bags. Now you can bring it to the GOFM Bag Bank! It's a simple way to declutter your home and contribute to our zero-waste initiative.
Even when a big art fair moved us from our usual spot, the market happened because 'khaana toh sabko khaana hai'. This tour also introduces the 'Purana Baksa' initiative by Zero Waste Gurgaon, where you can find pre-loved treasures at amazing prices. It's all about community and sustainability.
About More Than a Market: Our Community Vibe
This is a space where you come for the vegetables but stay for the people. Whether you're dropping off reusable bags at our Bag Bank, joining an impromptu Bhangra session, or browsing pre-loved treasures at our Purana Baksa, it’s all about the local vibe. Leave the formalities at home—this is just neighbors meeting neighbors over a shared love for local, clean food.
A Weekend Ritual
We operate on a simple principle: food is a daily necessity, so the act of buying it should be fun and meaningful. For over 11 years, our market has served as a weekly mela (festival) where residents of Gurgaon meet the very farmers who grow their produce. We don't do formal; we do 'pajama-chappal' comfort.
Living Sustainably Together
Our community is driven by real-world actions rather than theory. When you visit, you'll see initiatives that go beyond shopping:
- Bag Bank: Don't throw away those courier or delivery bags. Bring them to us. We redistribute them to vendors, helping reduce the usage of new packaging.
- Purana Baksa: Our way of preventing waste. Neighbors bring pre-loved items—cushion covers, books, and decor—that are sold at minimal prices to support our local cleanup drives.
- Active Living: From open-air Bhangra fitness sessions to workshops for kids, our market is where people come to move, laugh, and connect.
Join the Movement
Whether you are joining us at our Saturday spot at Sustainable Oasis, Sector 29, or our Sunday setup at Club 5, DLF Phase 5, the energy is consistent. We are not just an organic market; we are a community-led ecosystem where you learn, share, and support local farming. Bring your thela, bring your kids, and come say hello.
Manas
I'm Manas, and for 11 years, I've been your host and dost here at GOFM. We've built a place where you actually know the farmer growing your food, and where weekend mornings feel like a family gathering. Come as you are, bring your shopping bag, and join the gang.
