Hand-Painted Small Decor & Custom Miniatures
Tiny canvases, big stories. From functional coasters to miniature keepsakes, these small wonders are where my love for traditional folk art meets your daily space.

Miniature painting requires incredible precision. This video shows me adding the final touches to a tiny 7.5 cm disc, painting an intricate scene of a royal elephant.
My miniature, hand-painted copy of Van Gogh's 'Starry Night' on a small square tile. It was a challenge to capture the masterpiece's many shades of blue on such a small scale.

About this collection
Precision is the silent partner in every small piece I create. Whether I am painting a 7.5 cm disc or layering epoxy resin for coasters, the challenge lies in capturing intricate folk motifs within a tight frame. These are not just accessories; they are miniature stories that require the same attention to detail as my larger wall art, often taking days of steady, focused work to perfect.
While my larger wall plates and Nandi sculptures allow for sweeping narratives, these smaller pieces—coasters, miniature discs, and petite wall hangings—offer a different kind of joy. They prove that art doesn't need a massive wall to make an impact.
The Art of the Small
Painting a miniature is a test of patience. Unlike large canvases where you have space to breathe, a 3.5-inch coaster or a tiny disc requires total control. I often adapt traditional styles like Kerala Mural, Gond, and Pichwai to fit these smaller surfaces. It involves thinning my paints, steadying my hand for finer lines, and ensuring the composition feels complete despite the limitations of the space.
Functional Folk Art
I believe art should be touched, used, and integrated into your life. My coasters are not just for display; they are functional, heat-resistant, and finished with durable varnish or epoxy resin. They are designed to withstand tea cups and daily use while adding a pop of color to your table. If you want a set with a specific theme—perhaps floral motifs or geometric patterns inspired by Kantha embroidery—I can paint them to match your home's vibe.
Customization & Keepsakes
Many of these pieces start as custom requests. I have painted tiny scenes on 7.5 cm discs that were used as framed gifts and even incorporated personal items, like seashells gathered by a client’s daughter, into resin-coated coasters. If you have an idea for a small, meaningful gift or a piece of decor for a cozy nook, let's talk. Every quirk in these pieces is intentional, part of the handmade process that makes your item truly one-of-a-kind.
