About Painted Gardens: Botanical & Nature-Inspired Art
I prepare each wooden base myself, ensuring a smooth surface before bringing the botanical motifs to life with acrylic paints. Whether you choose a matte varnish for a rustic feel or an epoxy resin coating for that glass-like shine, these plates are built to last and brighten up your space.
I work with solid woods like Neem and Mango, along with high-quality MDF, ensuring a sturdy base for every painting. For these nature themes, I draw on a mix of real-world biology and imaginative folklore. One day I might be painting the intricate stitches of Kantha embroidery onto wood, and the next, I am sketching imaginary plants inspired by the mysterious Voynich manuscript.
Because everything is painted by hand, no two pieces are ever identical. The process is slow and careful, often taking days to finish a single design. I love taking on custom requests, whether it is a set of framed floral pieces or a single statement plate for your bedroom wall.
