Athletic Team Training and Performance Workouts
Beyond the standard gym routine. Here is a look at how we build teamwork, conditioning, and functional strength for athletes in the real world.
The only way to succeed is to try one more time. This video shows a full-body workout including treadmill running, lunges, squats, and dumbbell presses.
It is not over until I win. A personal workout session showing my focus and determination, featuring back squats and ab wheel rollouts.
Training is always better with a partner to push you. A great upper body session focusing on dumbbell curls, rows, and other accessory movements.
A glimpse into my own training session. I focus on upper body pulling strength with exercises like barbell rows, dumbbell rows, and pull-ups to maintain a strong and balanced physique.
Team building exercises are a great way to build cohesion and trust. These minor games improve communication and create a strong bond between players.
Off-season conditioning for cricketers. We use intensive interval training on the field to improve VO2 max and build a strong endurance base for the upcoming season.
Work mode on. Arriving at the cricket ground with my kit, ready for a day of training with the team.
Another shot of me arriving at the stadium. Every day is an opportunity to help athletes get one step closer to their goals.
Even on vacation, the work continues. A beach workout is a great way to challenge the body in a different environment, incorporating lunges and animal flow movements with a beautiful sunset.
About Additional Workouts & Team Sessions
You won't find mindless repetition here. Whether we are doing team-building drills on the pitch at Arun Jaitley Stadium or interval training on the beach, every movement is designed to serve a purpose. My goal is to make sure your training in the gym actually translates to improved performance and chemistry on the field, because sabko butter chicken pasand hai, but results come from discipline.
Building Chemistry on the Ground
Team chemistry is not just about strategy meetings or chalk talks. We run minor games and conditioning drills directly on the cricket ground to build communication and trust under fatigue. When players sweat together during off-season intervals, it creates a bond that helps a team navigate the pressure of actual matches. It is about moving together, reacting to each other, and building a collective intuition.
Why Environment Matters
I train athletes to adapt to their surroundings. While most of our heavy lifting happens at high-performance centers, sometimes you need to get out of the squat rack to challenge your stability. I use beach workouts to force the body to adapt to uneven terrain, improving balance and agility. I encourage athletes to find movement opportunities everywhere—the environment is just another variable to master.
Scientific Variety
Doing the same three exercises indefinitely leads to plateaus. By rotating through different modalities, from plyometric circuits to functional team games, we keep the nervous system engaged and prevent burnout. We are not just "playing around"; we monitor VO2 max improvement during high-intensity intervals and use team games to manage the 'storming phase' of team formation. Everything is measured, and everything is aimed at athletic longevity. You are here to win, and that requires constant, calculated adaptation.
