I don't use non-stick pans in my kitchen, preferring a traditional iron tawa for my gluten-free chillas. It brings out a better crunch and adds a touch of natural iron to your food, plus I never have to worry about harmful synthetic coatings wearing off into your meal. It is a small change, but it makes a world of difference for your health.
Healthy eating doesn't have to be boring or restrictive. My approach is to take simple ingredients and give them a nutritious makeover. For example, my khichdi isn't just plain rice and dal. I toss in fresh, seasonal vegetables like bell peppers, paneer, and roasted peanuts to add texture, colour, and protein to every bite. It transforms a standard meal into something vibrant and packed with goodness.
Everything I prepare is strictly preservative-free. When I make summer drinks like Aam Panna or Bel Sharbat, I do it the traditional way. I hand-mash the pulp to avoid bitterness and avoid the blender entirely for certain fruits, just like we did in our grandmother's kitchen. I believe your body deserves real food, not processed shortcuts.
