About Sacred Offerings: Vrat & Prasad Food
Preparing food for a pooja or a vrat requires a specific level of mindfulness. In my kitchen, I strictly adhere to traditional saatvik principles—no onion, no garlic, and using sendha namak. Every dish, whether it is a festive thali or individual prasad boxes, is cooked with the same hygiene and love I use for my own family’s offerings.
When you have a religious event, the last thing you want to worry about is the quality or the purity of the food. I take that worry off your plate. Based in South Extension, my kitchen focuses on traditional Indian cooking that respects the dietary rules required for fasting and religious ceremonies.
What I Prepare
My menu for religious events includes:
- Kanjak Plates: Hygienically packed boxes for Durga Ashtami containing halwa, chana, and puri.
- Navratri Specials: Kuttu/Singhara atta preparations, Dahi Kebabs (shallow-fried in desi ghee), and vrat-friendly chaats.
- Custom Prasad: Fragrant sweet rice, Panjiri, and assorted sweets made with pure desi ghee.
- Community Meals: Large-scale preparation for langar or satsang.
Customization & Hygiene
Everything is FSSAI certified. Since I am a home chef, I can easily customize the menu based on your specific tradition or dietary preference. If you need specific packing for distribution or a sit-down buffet for a pooja, I can handle both. I cater across Delhi NCR, ensuring that your religious occasion is supported by authentic, saatvik food that honors the sentiment of your celebration.
